Citizens Committed To Charlotteville
"Citizens Committed To Charlotteville" is a non-profit organization, registered in the nation of Trinidad and Tobago, dedicated to preserving and enhancing the lifestyle of all persons choosing to make the rural community of Charlotteville, Tobago, their permanent or holiday home.
Our aim is to enhance the community by focusing on infrastructure that fosters social and environmental sustainability, community life, organizing various events and engaging volunteers.
We believe in the power of collective effort and are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of the people of, and visitors to, Charlotteville. Join us in our mission to make Charlotteville, Tobago a place of first choice for persons seeking a more relaxed and refreshing lifestyle.
WHO WE ARE
We are a group of passionate individuals, many of whom were born in Charlotteville, or have Charlotteville ancestry or connections. Our commitment is to developmental planning and action to preserve its rustic, refreshing atmosphere, while adding the conveniences of life in the 21st. century.
Our vision is an attractive green community that is inclusive, prosperous, and a prime cultural eco- tourism destination, sustaining its residential relevance throughout generations.
OUR APPROACH
We work with the community to identify their needs and develop programs that meet those needs. Our approach is to engage the local people and businesses, the diaspora, and friends of Charlotteville, in producing a green and blue economic community. We will organize various events throughout the year to promote community involvement and showcase Charlotteville as a desired residential and cultural eco-tourism destination. We are developing a rural community with amazing attributes, retaining and attracting residents in spite of, and for some, because of, its distance from the hustle and bustle.
